I get an error when I try to select addon files to
install. What should I do?
Applies to:
"Error #430: Class does not support Automation or does not support
expected interface."
"Error #429: ActiveX component can't create object."
First, delete the file "Xceedzip.dll" in
your Windows\System32 folder. Next, follow these steps:
1. Download a fresh copy of Addit! Pro from
http://www.byteforge.com/downloads.
2. Extract the files and run Setup.exe
3. Select the option "Repair Addit! Pro".
4. Press Finish.
This replaces your bad Xceedzip.dll with a good copy and should
solve the problem.
