How does AI product development differ from adding an AI feature?
Adding a feature places a model inside a product that already exists. AI product development builds the product around the capability, from who the users are and what counts as an acceptable result to how uncertainty appears in the interface. How long does it take to build an AI product?
The architecture review, generally one to two weeks, fixes the scope and timeline before the build is priced. A first system typically reaches production in about twelve weeks. Where the integration surface or the evaluation set is large, the review says so and adjusts the timeline first.
How is each release made safe for users?
The evaluation set gates every release, so a version that falls below the agreed standard does not ship. Releases are staged, reaching a limited group of users before everyone, and every release plan includes rollback.
